This Privacy Policy explains how PT Pharmacies collects, processes and protects your personal information.

By providing us with your personal information, you agree to this Policy and authorise PT Pharmacies, our service providers and relevant third parties to process your personal information for the purposes stated in this Policy.

Personal Information is processed in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013, known as POPIA.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time. Updates will be made available on our website.

We may collect personal information through direct interactions, our relationship with you, website usage, social media platforms, third parties, public sources, employment applications, CCTV and cookies.

Types of information may include identity information, contact information, financial information, transaction information, technical information, usage information, location information, and marketing and communication information.

We primarily use your personal information for the purpose for which it was collected.

We will not intentionally collect and process the personal information of a child unless we have the permission of a guardian or competent person as defined by POPIA.

8. Payment Security

Payment pages are hosted in a PCI-DSS secure environment.

Data is encrypted using SSL secure links.

3D Secure authentication may be required.

Credit card data is not stored by PT Pharmacies.

9. Data Retention, Accuracy and Minimisation

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary unless a longer period is required by law, legitimate obligation or consent.

Personal information provided to us should be accurate, complete and up to date.

We restrict processing to information that is sufficient for the primary or legitimate purpose for which it was collected.

You have the right to lawful processing of your personal information.

Your rights include being notified of collection or unauthorised access, requesting access, requesting correction or deletion, objecting to processing, objecting to direct marketing, submitting a complaint to the Information Regulator, and instituting civil proceedings where applicable.

We may process personal information for direct marketing only where you have opted in or where permitted by applicable law.

You may unsubscribe at any time.

If you opt out of marketing, we may still send administrative messages necessary for services.
